Our Teacher Appreciation Week was truly something special, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of our Santee community, families, and PTA!

🍎 Our PTA was proud to serve throughout the week by:
- Providing coffee and daily treats
- Organizing and delivering lunches and snacks
- Coordinating raffle prizes and celebrations
- Supporting teachers with appreciation activities all week long

Because of this collective effort, our teachers and staff felt truly valued and celebrated.

We are so grateful for the incredible support that made Carlton Hills’ first-ever Acceptance Walk such a meaningful and memorable event! 💛

This walk celebrates neurodiversity and reminds us that acceptance means recognizing, respecting, and celebrating differences—so every student feels seen, supported, and included.

A huge thank you to Ms. Hailee, Ms. Erica, Ms. Marsman and her amazing 3rd grade class (for the beautiful signs!), our 6th grade buddies, APE coach, speech and occupational therapists, PTA board members, SDC staff, ESN teachers and aides, and all of our wonderful parent volunteers. Our ESN families helped run engaging stations like shaving cream, sensory bins, painting, texture boards, and bubbles—creating a fun, inclusive experience for all.

We especially loved seeing our speech therapists guide students in using AAC devices to help peers connect and communicate.

Together, we showed that diversity is our strength—and acceptance is something we can all practice every day. 🌈
