✨📚 A little quiet. A little magic. A lot of reading. 📚✨

Our students joined readers across Utah for the Statewide Read-a-Thon, taking time to slow down, open a book, and get lost in a story. 💫

There’s something pretty special about watching classrooms grow quiet as imaginations get busy. ❤️📖

Here’s to discovering new worlds, one page at a time. ✨

🌟 Kindness + Excellence in Action! 🌟

Our Student Council has been making their way into classrooms to help spread a little kindness and excellence throughout our school! ❤️✨

Students shared critical thinking posters designed to get their classmates thinking, talking, and working together. It’s a great reminder that being excellent isn’t just about getting the right answer, it’s about asking questions, listening to others, solving problems, and learning from one another. 🧠💡

We love seeing our student leaders step up and help build a school where we think critically, lead by example, choose kindness, and strive for excellence!

Way to go, Student Council! 🙌

🤧 ’Tis the season… for sniffles! 🤒

Unfortunately, along with cooler weather, fall also seems to bring plenty of coughs, sniffles, tummy bugs, and germs along for the ride. 🦠

We love seeing our students at school, but when they’re feeling under the weather, the best place for them is home resting and recovering. 💗 Please remember to keep your child home when they have a fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or other contagious symptoms, and generally wait until they’ve been symptom-free for 24 hours before returning to school.

A day at home to rest, heal, and come back ready to learn can also help keep classmates, teachers, staff, and families healthy. 🏠❤️

Thank you for helping us share kindness, not germs! 😉🧼

Celebrating America 250 Through Art!

One flag. Many voices. One future.

To celebrate 250 years of America, every student at our school created a piece of something bigger—our American flag! ❤️🤍💙

Before creating their pieces, students talked about the importance of the American flag, what it represents, and the history it carries. We also discussed how we can show respect for that history while recognizing that our students are part of the flag’s future, too.

Because this flag isn’t just about where we’ve been. It’s about where we’re going.

Each student designed their own piece with their name, words, and images representing what is important to them and what they hope to carry into the future. When we brought all of those individual pieces together, they became one flag, a reminder that while every student has their own story, dreams, and ideas, they are all part of what comes next.

We can’t wait to welcome our families to SEP Night this Thursday, September 24, where you’ll be able to see the flag in all its beauty and glory in person! Take a moment to look closely, you may even be able to find your student’s piece among the hundreds that came together to create it. ❤️🤍💙

And there’s even more to celebrate! 🎨 Two pieces from our student artists, one from grades K–2 and one from grades 3–5, will be selected to represent our school in the District Art Showcase!

What a beautiful way to celebrate America’s 250th honoring the history represented by our flag while giving our students the opportunity to imagine what they hope its future will hold.✨
