Mrs. Elliott’s 2nd graders stopped by Mr. Bruemmer’s office to flex their computer science and English skills. Very impressive work this early in the school year writing sentences about their vocabulary words and using Google Suite to produce full page text and picture documents!

The Santa Ynez Chumash Foundation donated $15,000 to our College Elementary students to be used for purchasing brand new student Chromebooks.

Nick Gianis, Philanthropy Manager for the Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indian's Foundation, came by Santa Ynez Elementary School today to hand the check to our superintendent, Mr. Ian Trejo.

Mrs. Barajas and her third grade students are pictured here. They are just one group of students who will be receiving brand new 14" Chromebooks that will travel with them for the next 3-5 years as they work their way through middle school and prepare for high school.

Principal, Anthony Bruemmer, and Board President, Calisse Courtney, co-wrote the grant application that was awarded the funding.

We take great pride in serving Chumash students and families here at College Elementary School District and we're grateful for the growing partnership we have with the Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians.

School is back in session and the TK/K Lemonade Party was a huge success. Thank you to all of the families who came out to see the classrooms, complete the scavenger hunts, and enjoy cookies and lemonade. We're all looking forward to a great 2026-27 school year!
