THE BIGGEST THANK YOU TO JENNELL!
While we’re celebrating what an amazing Walkathon and Silent Auction we had, we have to give a very special shout-out to the person who has poured so much time, energy, and LOVE into making these events happen year after year -our incredible Walkathon & Auction Chair, Jennell! 👏
For the past few years, Jennell has worked tirelessly behind the scenes to organize, coordinate, communicate, problem-solve, recruit volunteers, connect with sponsors and donors, and somehow keep everything moving toward the finish line!
The Madrone community is truly so lucky and blessed to have her.
Jennell, thank you for all the hours, heart, and dedication you give to our students and our school. These events wouldn’t be what they are without you!
Mustangs, let’s show Jennell some love!

Mientras celebramos el éxito de nuestra caminata solidaria (Walkathon) y la subasta silenciosa, queremos hacer un reconocimiento muy especial a la persona que ha dedicado tanto tiempo, energía y AMOR para hacer realidad estos eventos año tras año: ¡nuestra increíble coordinadora de la caminata y la subasta, Jennell!
Durante los últimos años, Jennell ha trabajado incansablemente entre bastidores para organizar, coordinar, comunicar, resolver problemas, reclutar voluntarios, conectar con patrocinadores y donantes y, de alguna manera, ¡lograr que todo avance hacia la meta!

🌈 MUSTANGS — YOU RAN THE RAINBOW! 🌈
What a day! You all came out ready to run, play, get colorful, and have FUN — and the smiles said it all!
We even heard a few kids say, “This is the best day ever!” And honestly… that’s exactly what we hoped for!
A HUGE thank you to all of our amazing volunteers, teachers, and staff who helped make this year’s Walkathon and Silent Auction such a huge success. We truly could not do it without you! 🙌
And of course, a big THANK YOU to our incredible sponsors and donors who generously supported our school.
Each year, the Walkathon and Silent Auction raise thousands of dollars for our Madrone community. That money allows the PTA fund fun events and special assemblies, support school needs and provide treats and appreciation for our amazing teachers and staff throughout the year
So while we may have spent the day covered in color, the impact goes far beyond the rainbow!

🌈 MUSTANGS: ¡CORRISTEIS BAJO EL ARCOÍRIS! 🌈
¡Qué gran día! Todos vinieron listos para correr, jugar, llenarse de color y DIVERTIRSE... ¡y las sonrisas lo decían todo!
Incluso escuchamos a algunos niños decir: "¡Es el mejor día de todos!". Y, sinceramente... ¡eso es exactamente lo que esperábamos!
Un agradecimiento ENORME a todos nuestros increíbles voluntarios, maestros y personal que ayudaron a que la Caminata Solidaria (Walkathon) y la Subasta Silenciosa de este año fueran un éxito rotundo. ¡Realmente no podríamos hacerlo sin ustedes! 🙌
Y, por supuesto, un gran AGRADECIMIENTO a nuestros increíbles patrocinadores y donantes que apoyaron generosamente a nuestra escuela.
Cada año, la Caminata Solidaria y la Subasta Silenciosa recaudan miles de dólares para nuestra comunidad de Madrone. Ese dinero permite a la asociación de padres (PTA) financiar eventos divertidos y asambleas especiales, cubrir necesidades escolares y ofrecer detalles de agradecimiento a nuestros maravillosos maestros y personal a lo largo del año.
Así que, aunque pasamos el día cubiertos de color, ¡el impacto va mucho más allá del arcoíris!

🌈🏃‍♀️ MUSTANGS, IT’S ALMOST HERE! 🏃‍♂️🌈
Run the Rainbow Walkathon + Silent Auction is THIS FRIDAY, October 2nd!
And guess what? The whole family is invited!
Friday, October 2nd from 1:15 PM–4:00 PM
The fun kicks off at 1:15 PM and continues after school for students who have adult supervision. We’ll be running, playing, getting colorful, and celebrating together until 4:00 PM!

Silent AUCTION happening as well!!
We have SO many amazing items up for grabs -from experiences and sports tickets to jewelry, w**e, gift cards, and so much more!

🌈🏃‍♀️ HI MUSTANGS -ARE YOU READY TO RUN THE RAINBOW?! 🏃‍♂️🌈
We are officially ONE WEEK AWAY from Madrone’s Run the Rainbow Walkathon, and things are getting COLORFUL!
The bottles are filled with color (thanks to our amazing PTA volunteers!), and the Walkathon Committee is putting the finishing touches on what is sure to be an unforgettable day!
BUT WE COULD USE YOUR HELP!
We still need volunteers to help before and during the event. Check out the link for all the ways you can jump in and be part of the fun!
A few Run the Rainbow reminders:
This year is going to be colorful… aka MESSY.
The good news? The color powder washes out!
The other news? Before it washes out, EVERYTHING it touches may be covered in color!
