Cross Country Season Finale! 💛🖤

The JNMS Cross Country Team competed this past Saturday in the District 32-3A Cross Country Meet, the final meet of the season. Our athletes gave it their all and represented JNMS with determination, perseverance, and pride!

A special thank-you to Coach Cardenas for his leadership, high expectations, and dedication to helping every athlete reach their full potential. We are grateful for the positive impact he has made on our runners both on and off the course.

💧 A special shout-out to Cecilia Loya, our team manager, for making sure our athletes stayed hydrated and supported throughout every race. Thank you for your care and commitment to our team!

💛🖤 National Bullying Prevention Month at Jo Nelson Middle School! 🖤💛

We’re kicking off the month with our Bullying Prevention Spirit Days! Each day is a fun reminder that kindness, inclusion, and respect help create a school where everyone belongs.

🧢 October 13 – Cap Day
Wear your cap and remember: everyone deserves to be seen, valued, and included.

🏗️ October 14 – Building Champions
Wear safety vests and hard hats as we build each other up through encouragement, support, and standing up for others.

👕👟 October 15 – We All Fit In Together
Mix and match your clothes and shoes to celebrate our differences and remind everyone that there is a place for everyone at Jo Nelson.

Let’s make this month about more than just spirit days. Let’s choose kindness. Let’s include others. Let’s stand up for one another. Together, we can make a difference! 💛🖤

Yesterday, our 7th grade students received their perfect attendance reward for the month of September: Fatboys Ice Cream! 🍦😋

Our students really look forward to these rewards and work hard to compete with one another by grade level for their well-earned prize. It’s exciting to see their enthusiasm and commitment!

Attendance matters, and every day counts! 🎉
