Beth Ami people lost 286 pounds on Yom Kippur. Actually, we don't know how much weight was lost by fasting, but that's the weight of the food donated during Yom Kippur to the Redwood Empire Food Bank. The strong and resolute Judi and Lyla transported it all to the food bank. There is still a collection barrel in the Beth Ami lobby, it's never too late to help the food bank.
