Our Kindergarten Eagles are learning their way around VCA! 💙💛

Each year, our Kindergarten class takes a special field trip around campus, visiting the office, exploring the gym, and stopping by the library for some special time in the book area just before it opens for the year.

It’s more than learning where things are. They’re becoming familiar with the spaces, people, and routines that will be part of their days ahead, building confidence, creating connections, and setting them up for success as they grow at VCA.

One campus. So many years ahead to grow, learn, and become who God created them to be. 🦅

Our half-day TK class has their own special pickup time, which means a little trip through the library on their way out! This week, they got an extra-special surprise meeting one of our amazing substitutes and, of course, Eddie the Eagle! 🦅

Just one of those sweet little VCA moments that makes our campus feel like home.

Meet Your New Teacher | Mrs. Flor Corrales

God continues to bless our school! We are so pleased to welcome Mrs. Flor Corrales to the VCA family as our new 2nd Grade Teacher! 💙💛

Originally from San Diego and recently relocated to Sonoma County, Mrs. Corrales earned her Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies with a minor in Spanish and completed the Multiple Subject Teaching Credential Program at Cal State San Marcos.

She brings experience working with elementary-aged students and a heart for creating a Christ-centered classroom where students are reminded of God’s love and His purpose for their lives. She is passionate about supporting students academically while helping them grow in character and confidence in who God created them to be.

Outside the classroom, Mrs. Corrales loves spending time with family, reading God’s Word, crafting, all things cow-themed , and a good cup of coffee.

We are so grateful God has brought Mrs. Corrales to VCA and can’t wait for our families to get to know her!

Meet Your New Teachers | Mrs. Stephanie Lenox
God continues to bless our school! We are so pleased to welcome Mrs. Stephanie Lenox, who is joining VCA to teach Jr. High English and Keyboarding! 💙💛

Mrs. Lenox holds a BA in English with an emphasis in Creative Writing from Sonoma State University and brings five years of experience teaching in Christian schools throughout Sonoma County.

She is passionate about helping students turn their great ideas into engaging writing through a fun, thought-provoking classroom. Just as importantly, she wants her students to learn to think critically and biblically, asking meaningful questions and viewing what they learn through a Christ-centered lens.

Mrs. Lenox lives in Sonoma County with her husband and children, and we are so grateful God has brought her to our VCA community!

Now that our whole campus is back, there’s nothing quite like hearing the sounds of our students laughing, playing, learning, and simply being together again. 💙💛

We’re beginning this year with full and grateful hearts. Grateful for this campus, for these kiddos, for you, their families, and most of all, for the opportunity to invite Christ into everything we do here.

It’s going to be a great year, VCA. We’re so thankful we get to do it together. ✨

Yesterday, our Families in Prayer group, formerly Moms in Prayer, and our PSO hosted coffee and treats as our VCA community gathered to pray. What a beautiful turnout. 💙🙏💛

Together, parents, PSO, and staff lifted up our school, our students, their relationships, our families, and our staff, praying above all that Christ remains at the center of everything we do.

We are incredibly grateful for those who faithfully pray over VCA. What a blessing that we get to begin another year together, covered in prayer. Grounded in Christ. Ready for the World.
