pporting children and families. Founder Margaret Short, M.S., BCBA, is a longtime local and toddler mom with a deep commitment to her community. With years of experience in behavior therapy and parent coaching, Margaret has helped countless families navigate the early years with confidence and connection. Rooted in clinical expertise and built with love, The Play Studio is more than a place to play—it’s a community designed to nurture development through movement, creativity, and meaningful interaction.

Aloha, little ones! 🌴 Monday & Tuesday, we’re bringing the tropics to The Play Studio with a full morning of summer crafts and sensory play.

Ages 2-6 recommended, but all little artists are welcome. $25 per child, 1 hour of island-inspired fun.

🎉 To our Play Studio community… THANK YOU. Your love and support during our soft launch phase has meant everything and we are so excited to show you what we have been working on for our full scale launch! 🙌

Swipe to see a few more elements of what you and your children will be able to enjoy when you visit us after our grand opening. 🔜

We are bringing to life our Play Studio Town (complete with a doctors office and vet clinic, salon, and market), monkey bars, and an active play structure (complete with a swing and slide) - all designed to encourage imaginative play, movement, and adventure. There’s still even more to come, and we can’t wait to show you the full space as it comes together!✨

To make these improvements happen, we will be CLOSED for remodeling beginning Saturday, October 10th through October 31st. Our last Soft Launch open play day will be Friday, October 9th! 🛠️

Here’s what you need to know:

💛 Founding Memberships: Secure yours by September 9th to lock in your rate before our improvements roll out.
💛 No membership fees in October: Members will NOT be billed during our closure month.
💛 Members, 50% off open play: From October 1st to October 9th, members will enjoy half off open play sessions… don’t miss your last chance to play before we close!
💛 Birthday parties: Book now and lock in current birthday party pricing. All parties booked before October 31st regardless of party date will be honored at soft launch prices.

As these improvements come to life, you can expect pricing to evolve too… so now’s the time to secure those memberships and birthday party dates. New pricing will be released as we get closer to our Grand Opening.

These improvements mean a bigger, better Play Studio for your littles, and we cannot wait to share it with you. 💛

We hope every single one of our friends had the BEST summer and start to their school year! Here’s a little recap of some of our favorite summer memories from this summer, starting with the arrival of our newest Play Studio founding member, baby Madelyn Short!

We had so much fun with all of you during open play sessions, crafts and play classes, school orientations, and birthday parties. We absolutely loved meeting so many new families this summer, both locals and visitors too. 💕

Amongst all of these exciting memories, we’ve also been working hard behind the scenes and we have a BIG announcement coming to you Monday. Check back then!

Grab your little picnic pals and join us for a fun-filled Summer Picnic Crafts & Play at The Play Studio!

We’ll be bringing the joy of a sunny picnic indoors with a morning full of hands-on creativity, sensory exploration, and play.

🌞 This week’s activities include:

🍋 Lemon Stamping Lemonade
🍉 Puffy Paint Watermelons
🍉 Watermelon Sensory Bin
🧺 Picnic Food Sorting

Once crafts are complete, families are invited to head into the playroom to continue the fun!

📅 Classes are available Thursday & Friday at:

Recommended for ages 2–6, but older children who love crafting are always welcome!
