Hello,
For the first time in years, we are going to have a very limited number of spaces in our Primary classroom for the 2024/25 school year! Spots are only for 3 and 4 year olds. If you are interested in learning more about our Primary classroom, please contact Beth Brock at 850-240-0670. Many of you have asked if there is a way to help our neighbors in Louisiana after the devastation of Hurricane Ida. You may not know, but I am from Louisiana. I was born and raised in Metairie, a suburb of New Orleans and graduated from LSU. Louisiana is in my blood! Much of my family and countless friends still reside in southeast Louisiana. I have also been eager to help, but it's hard to find a tangible way to help when the need is so great and it's difficult to get the right supplies to the people that need them.

One of my best friends from high school and my college roommate, Jessica, who now resides in North Carolina, will be driving a truck filled with supplies to southeast Louisiana next week. In it will be tarps, bleach, water, vacuums, coolers, ice, gas and gas cans, box fans, buckets and a whole assortment of other things to help folks manage. These items will go directly to people in need who they know through their contacts in Louisiana.
If you would like to contribute to this effort, I would be humbled and grateful. They are NOT a non-profit. Your donation, in any amount, would NOT be tax deductible. However, I can personally guarantee that your donation would make a difference and would help people that have been directly affected and need help.

If you choose to make a donation to this effort, please Venmo and write "Hurricane" in the comments. You can also write a check to SWMA and put "Hurricane" in the memo field. I will batch the donations together and send directly to Jessica. She plans to leave on Sunday, but she will be in the area until next Thursday morning and can also use the money to purchase gift cards to local grocery stores while there. No donation is too small or large and any amount is greatly appreciated.

We have CHANGED THE LOCATION for our annual Torre Rosa fundraiser this year! The Craft Bar in Grayton is still under construction, so we are happy to announce that the event will take place at OLD FLORIDA FISH HOUSE on 30A! Bring your friends and join us for a night of fun on Saturday, March 5 from 6 to 9 at Old Florida Fish House. Tickets are $30 per person, and can be purchased in advance or at the door. We have some great auction items, so bring your checkbook! Appetizers will be served and there will be a cash bar. Hope to see you all there!

The nice folks at Big Daddy's Bikes in Blue Mountain Beach donated TWO amazing bikes. We are selling raffle tickets for $5 per ticket, or 5 for $20.
