Meet Ambroise Aubrun, Violinist, playing in our UpClose Concerts No. 2: Siblings & Sonatas this Sunday, March 31!
French violinist Ambroise Aubrun, described as a performer with a “marvelous ease, suppleness and beauty of sound” (A. Busser, Nice-Matin) enjoys an international career as soloist, recitalist, chamber and orchestral musician and pedagogue. Currently Assistant Professor of Violin at The University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Dr. Aubrun previously held teaching positions at UCLA and UC Santa Barbara.
The recipient of numerous awards, Aubrun has performed extensively in Europe and North America in halls such as Salzburg Haus Fuer Mozart, Yerevan Khachaturian Grand Hall, and Los Angeles Broad Stage.
As an orchestral musician, Aubrun has collaborated with conductors such as Pierre Boulez, Heinz Holliger, Gustavo Dudamel, James Conlon, Esa-Pekka Salonen, Neville Mariner and Emmanuel Krivine.
