Chit Chat or Deep talk? It’s up to you...

For starters, I’d like to introduce myself.
My name is Mônica Sut Gravina and I’ve been an English teacher for over 35 years. Throughout this time I’ve had many different experiences from children /beginners to advanced and adults.
My objective here is NOT to give hints or introduce the English language ,cause there are many good people already doing this in the net.
My dream is to Interact with the ones who already have a certain knowledge of English and open up a space to discuss topics ,feelings, ideas, and learn with one another.
The idea is to select a theme for discussion evey week. And then, we can start a small talk or deepen our thoughts. You can bring a poem, a song, or use your own words to express what you think and feel about the theme.
Of course, during the conversation, we can learn and teach new words, expressions, stories, songs, whatever we want to talk about.
So, as you must have realized this is a spot designed for intermediate and/or advanced learners to practice. My wish would be that we could practice it speaking, but you can also record a video and post it too. Or, who konws, someday we can really meet to talk. Anyway, how about joining us! And to begin your participation, tell me: What would you like to talk about here?
