Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Tau Tau Omega Chapter Tau Tau Omega is the Santa Monica, CA chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Members have participated in annual service projects at the L.A. King Jr.

The lovely ladies of Tau Tau Omega Chapter work to promote service to all mankind through community involvement in the Santa Monica area and greater Los Angeles communities. Mission, the Downtown Women’s Shelter, with the Dream Center on Skid Row for the National Family Volunteer Day of Service, Christmas Toy Drives, and the Dr. Martin L. Day of Service.

Tau Tau Omega Chapter is proud to host GREENwell™ 2026!

Join us on Saturday, September 19, 2026, as we come together in support of International Coastal Cleanup Day for a morning of service, community, and collective impact.

In partnership with Heal the Bay, we’ll roll up our sleeves and help clean up the historic Inkwell Beach in Santa Monica, working together to make our local community cleaner and greener.

We’re still smiling from an incredible chapter retreat with the ladies of Tau Tau Omega!

We love this time of year because it gives us dedicated space to pause, reflect, and plan for the future in an intimate setting where the focus is solely on us—our chapter, our sisterhood, and our collective impact.

We handled chapter business in our chic pink and green, poured inspiration and intention into creating our own customized Tau Tau Omega candles, and gathered together at the Family Table for a beautiful Sisterhood Luncheon. Most importantly, we made time to fellowship, laugh, connect, and strengthen the bonds of sisterhood over delicious farm-to-table, chef-driven cuisine.

There’s something special about coming together as a family with purpose, honoring the legacy that brought us here while looking ahead to how we can continue making an impact.

Our sisterhood is strengthened! Our hearts are full. And we’re ready to Champion and continue serving our community and shaping the future — the Tau Tau Omega Way!

Tau Tau Omega Chapter is proud to host GREENwell 2026: Service and Sisterhood, bringing together SoCal for a weekend of purpose, impact, and sisterhood!

September 19–20, 2026

PART 1: SERVICE | September 19
In support of International Coastal Cleanup Day, we’ll roll up our sleeves and serve alongside our sisters and community members to help make our local communities cleaner and greener. This service event is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.

PART 2: SISTERHOOD | September 20
After we serve, it’s time to celebrate! AKA graduate sorors are invited to gather at Santa Monica Inkwell at Crescent Bay Park for an afternoon of sisterhood and fun with a GREEN cause. THIS IS OPEN TO AKA MEMBERS ONLY.

GREENwell is more than a cleanup—it’s an opportunity to turn our commitment to service into collective action while strengthening the bonds of sisterhood.

One of the most meaningful moments of Boule is witnessing the transition of leadership and celebrating the installation of our new International President. It is a powerful reminder that while leadership may change, our commitment to service, sisterhood, and excellence remains steadfast.
