Are you KIWIed? Kiwi Education started as a private tutoring service in 2006, covering a variety of math and science subjects from grade-school to 12th grade.
Because of the expanding need of its students, Kiwi Education was incorporated in July 2010. Beginning in the summer of 2011, Kiwi Education will offer a variety of SAT I and SAT II classes to meet the demand of its students. We now have instructors with two locations in West Los Angeles and in Encino.

Meet your tutor!
Andrew Bailey
He has been teaching test preparation for almost ten years, and his engaging teaching style has helped students achieve dramatic increases in their scores, including a handful of perfect 2400s. Many of his former students have gone on to attend UCs, Ivy League, and other top-tier universities. In addition to teaching, he is pursuing a writing career; his fiction has been published in a variety of print and online literary journals.

SAT I Preparation
Our SAT I classes are divided into 3 sections: critical reading, writing, and math. Critical reading classes will focus on strategies and practices for the reading comprehension questions, including passage mapping, question identification, and thesis isolation. In addition, there will be a large focus on vocabulary building in an effort to prepare for the sentence completion questions.
Writing classes will include methods for composing the SAT I essay and a review of the different grammar rules needed to answer the multiple choice questions.
Math will include a review of the different topics covered in the SAT I math portion and the strategies necessary to perform well on the exam.
