The extraordinary Mary Ann Cummins, who has taught music at Crossroads since we opened our doors in 1971, was profiled in a beautiful piece in the Los Angeles Times. We are grateful for her decades of dedication to our students!

The Middle School Players, Crossroads’ afterschool drama program for students in grades 6-8, recently premiered “Twisted Tales: A Grimm Reality,” a student-written play inspired by Grimm’s Fairy Tales. The play reimagined the classic stories to include modern elements that revealed interesting and creative backstories behind some of childhood’s most iconic fairytale characters.

Upper School students were recently featured in the LA Times for starting LA's first-ever high school pickleball league! The league's inaugural tournament will be played later this month, with teams from other local schools including Pali, Brentwood, Windward, Notre Dame and Santa Monica Pacifica Christian all participating.

An April Celebration Mash-Up Middle School curriculum brings together National Poetry Month & Earth Day 

It was a Parent Association Spring Event Fundraiser for the books! The musical tour de force “Cabaret: The Eras Tour” was made possible thanks to hundreds of student, employee and parent performers; our dedicated event co-chairs and volunteers; and the extraordinary talents behind the scenes, led by writer and director Mickey Blaine. Best of all, Sunday’s event raised critical funds for the school’s Affordability Program, thanks to the immense generosity of the Crossroads community. A tremendous thank you to everyone who made “Cabaret” a smashing success!

A big week for the Class of 2025 kicked off yesterday with Senior Dog Day! What began as a student prank in the ‘90s has now become a beloved Crossroads tradition, filling the Alley with pups of every size.

The Argonaut recently profiled Crossroads ninth grader Samantha Leeds, who founded the Riot Stage. The company aims to make Shakespeare accessible to young people; its upcoming production features a cast of Crossroads students.

Last week’s Elementary School Grandparents & Special Friends Day was full of smiles as students welcomed their special guests to campus for a day of bonding and fun activities! ❤️

Last week, our fifth grade coed soccer team competed against Brentwood in the annual Sports Extraordinaire, coming back from a 2-1 deficit in the second half to tie the game at 3-3! 👏⚽️
