Congratulations to the Class of 2033 🎊 Today, we celebrated our fifth graders as they marked the end of their elementary school journey and prepared to take their next steps into middle school. We are so proud of the all the ways of the jag; kindness, courage, curiosity, and care they bring to our community as they take this exciting next step into middle school.
Our eighth graders marked a major milestone as they celebrated the end of middle school and look ahead to the Upper School. We are grateful to our 8th families for creating such a celebratory after-party on the Sports Court filled with games, food, gifts, DJ, and more! Cheers to the Class of 2030 🎊🎉
We celebrated our Kindergarten graduates with family, loved ones, live music, and their 5th grade buddies cheering them on. Thank you to Asia and Yvonne for guiding our youngest Jaguars with such intentionality! Congratulations, Class of 2038 🎉✨

Our final 30th anniversary celebration brought more than 1,100 community members to Party on the Pier to honor three decades of transformative education. Thank you to every student, parent, guardian, alumni, faculty and staff, donor, and friend who have helped shape our school and our community. Thirty years later, our mission is vital as ever! ✨

Sixth graders have been exploring countries around the world through in-depth research reports, while also developing essential informational writing skills like note-taking, drafting, revising, and editing. The project culminated in a Research Showcase and Float Parade, where they demonstrated their learning for a full house of parents, teachers, and classmates. It was an impactful week for civic engagement at New Roads! A big shoutout to the 30+ Middle and Upper School students and families who volunteered with Westside Food Bank, helping make 650 produce boxes to support local veterans in need. Thank you as well to our K–12 families who made our one-day food drive a success, collecting 250 pounds of food items to support summer food kits distributed throughout the community. What a meaningful way to end the year and continue our challenge encouraging students to complete 30 hours of service during New Roads’ 30th anniversary year. The Class of 2026 returned from their five-day Zion trip last week, one of their final senior traditions before graduation. From hiking and canyoneering to stargazing under the desert sky, the graduating class shared an unforgettable experience before they officially become New Roads alumni. Heartfelt thank you to the faculty and staff chaperones who accompanied our seniors and helped make this trip so special.
