STUDY MUSIC at SMC:
The SMC Music Department provides educational opportunities for students and the community to explore and expand their knowledge, performance skills, and enjoyment of music. We have programs and courses for applied and group music instruction, history, vocal and instrumental ensembles, theory, and musicianship. The curriculum is intended to serve music majors, general education transfer students, vocationally oriented students, and the community. For details, call (310) 434-4323 or (310) 434-3005. Unless otherwise noted, concerts are held in The Eli and Edythe Broad Stage or in The Edye, both located at the SMC Performing Arts Center (PAC) at Santa Monica Blvd. & 11th St., Santa Monica. Advance tickets for concerts with an admission charge may be purchased online (http://www.smc.edu/eventsinfo), by phone at (310) 434-3005, or in person at the SMC Theatre Arts Box Office (Theatre Arts Complex, SMC Main Campus; limited hours). Tickets may also be purchased at the door 45 minutes before the event start time. Seating is strictly on a first-arrival basis.
