The Chestnut Club is super cute!

Sometimes, after the pressure of finals, it's nice to get together and get out!

Preston Michael, Rachel Abbot and Camilla Hassvik represented SMC in Newport Beach. They assignment - a multi unit living and rehabilitation center.

I love a full classroom! This is INT ARC 28 A, beginning drafting and perspective drawing.

Big congrats to our own Juan Lorado, Elizabeth Seaton and Alyssa Cole who competed in the IIDA team Charette event in Newport Beach today! Elizabeth placed first, Alyssa 2nd and Juan 3rd. Well done all of you! Photos to come.

Hello All,
Can you believe Summer is over?! I feel so unfullfilled, and so pale. But enough about that. I hope you're all set for the Fall Term.

Club meetings will be starting the second week of the term, and we'll be meeting every Monday from 5.15 pm to 6.15 pm in Room 117 in the AET Bldg. So join us for our first meeting on September 3rd!

Also, we have a brand new instructor at SMC, Jo Hao, who will be teaching our brand new Studio classes, as well as Principals of Design and the Business Practices class. So, get to know Jo!

Here's to a brilliant Fall 2012!

Just a reminder the Design Club will be attending the Dwell on Design show this Friday the 22nd, meeting at the lobby escelators by 11.30. You should have your tickets or badges by this time, ready for entry to the show. Students are free with ID and transcripts, so get there a little early to be processed and ticketed.
