Toddlers are endlessly curious, and you may start to hear that classic question, “Why?” Their vocabulary is rapidly expanding, and they love to hear stories and use their imagination.

Here is a fun healthy snack to get into the kiddo's tummy before all that candy.

Monster Teeth
4 medium-sized granny smith apples, cut into 8 sections each
1 cup natural creamy organic peanut butter
1 cup yogurt-covered raisins or any type of berry
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Section each apple and then sprinkle with lemon juice to prevent browning. Spread about 1 tsp. of peanut butter on each slice. Stick 4-6 yogurt-covered berries on an angle in the peanut butter, then place a second peanut butter-covered apple slice on top. (You may need to secure with a toothpick or extra peanut butter.)

As the days get colder coloring is a great indoor activity.

There are so many learning opportunities in Preschool and possibly one of the most important is learning about friendship.
Children need to learn friendship skills. As children play with others, they build skills that help them with friendships now and in the future. These are skills like sharing, taking turns, cooperating, listening to others, managing disagreements, and seeing other people's points of view.

A Bored Box is simple to create take a box and fill it with anything your child shows interest in that can be done without much supervision, such as crafts, games, LEGOs, play dough, books, and any other item they like to play with.
The Secret is to only bring it out when you want a moment.

Sharing stories, talking, and singing every day helps your child’s development in many ways.

You’re getting your child familiar with sounds, words, language, print, and, eventually, the value and joy of books. This builds your child’s early literacy skills, including the ability to focus, and helps your child go on to read successfully later in childhood.
