Alpha Faye O'Neal is a lead core professional development presenter for Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes (LBLP).
Since her start in 2001 at the Manhattan Learning Center, she has lived in 7 different states setting up literacy projects for the esteemed educational organization.
She has worked with remote indigenous communities facing literacy challenges: most notably schools in 'Bush' Alaska and on the Navajo reservations in New Mexico.
Alpha was asked by co-founder and author, Nanci Bell, to oversee instruction in their flagship Learning Center in San Luis Obispo, where she further honed her program knowledge. Among the dozen hats she's worn for LBLP, her favorite role is introducing the importance of developing imagery and dual coding to acquire reading and comprehension skills, through online professional learning workshops.
