An email I received this morning from Sister Fran Kearney is below. BJ (Barbara) Sullivan is going to see SMM today. I will forward your words, stories to BJ and she can read them to her this evening. Please hold Sister Mary Margaret in your prayers and for the other sisters who love her so much. Take care.
Our dear Sister Mary Margaret's condition has changed in the last couple of days so we are enrolling her in Hospice.
We wanted you to know so that you can hold her in prayer. Last night she was still a little responsive, trying to open her eyes as she heard her brother's voice on the phone and as we spoke to her.
Sister Mary Margaret thoroughly enjoyed her time with you all at St. Monica's and she always had an easy smile when we reminisced, as teacher do!, about your classes and about you as maturing adults. Her 80th Birthday Cards still adorn her room and make for great conversation during visits, allowing even the staff to hear about your thoughtfulness and the delight you continue to bring her. Highlights of her celebration were talking with some of you by phone, even having FaceTime with Pat Orr and a phone call with Cheri Blackburn.
Yours are the only e-mails I have for your classes, so please spread the word to those who would want to know about Sister Mary Margaret.
Below is the simple notice we sent out to our Community. If there are others who would want to receive news about Sister Mary Margaret, just send me their e-mails or snail mail addresses, and with their names if not in their e-mail address.
Blessings on your day, with deep gratitude for the joy that you brought to Sister Mary Margaret, Sister Sylvia, and so many of your teachers during your time at St. Monica's and for keeping in touch over the years.
Peace, as we hold Sister and our world in our hearts and prayer,
Sister Fran.
Dear Sisters and Affiliates,
Sister Mary Margaret is entering her final journey. She is being enrolled in Hospice tomorrow.
Please hold her and her family in prayer, especially her younger brother Bill and his wife Patty, as we all accompany Mary Margaret at this sacred time.

From Cheryl Junod:
Hello classmates! Heard from Sister Fran Kearney that Sister Mary Margaret is turning 80 this coming Monday, March 20. How wonderful it would be if we sent her birthday cards and flood her mailbox with greetings 😍🥰

Hope everyone is well and surviving this crazy winter weather all over our country!! 🤞 Take care.
