The Waldorf educational approach is recognized for its unique incorporation of the arts and music across all subjects. By engaging in daily activities such as drawing, painting, singing, playing instruments, and eurythmy (a unique style of movement and dance), the development of the children's mind, body, and spirit is nurtured. Many of the principles and ideas from its inception continue to be applied in Waldorf schools today, even in the face of advancing technology. In fact, we discourage the use of televisions and computers for children's development. Instead, they promote imagination as a source of entertainment and learning, which is one of the most effective ways to teach children critical thinking skills.
