Sycamore Community School Rooted in Academic Excellence and Personal Growth Celebrating the great diversity of Los Angeles is part of the school’s mission.

We are a new K-8 independent school located in Downtown Santa Monica founded by passionate and experienced Los Angeles educators. The mission of Sycamore Community School is to nurture a whole child dynamic learning experience for students in grades K-8 in a small school environment with a low teacher-student ratio. Fostering resilient, independent, creative, compassionate, kind and engaged students is the goal of this program. Students will have many opportunities to collaborate within and across grade levels in and beyond the school campus on a regular basis. Hands-on learning experiences and robust instructional/curricular resources will be used across grades to educate the whole person. We are grateful for the AMAZING Santa Monica Abassador Program. This month, students raised money to give thanks to community members who impact us each day! On Thursday, 4th/5th/8th grade headed to the Ambassador offices to drop off a special thank you, and meet Latoya!
