Founded in 1987, we are a community of professional artists an
d theater educators who have over 150 years combined experience in performing arts education. For the past three decades, we have staged adaptations of hundreds of musicals, plays and stories. Our caring, passionate, and inspiring directors are dedicated to brining out the best in each actor. Specialized Programs:
Kids on Stage prides itself on personalized, age-appropriate curriculum which has been crafted over the years to integrate all levels of ability. It is customized for each class or camp based on group dynamics. We provide a personalized experience where each actor is encouraged to be part of the creative process. Emotional Intelligence & Empowerment:
Actors work closely together as a team while expanding their theater skills and knowledge. We guide them to respect differences and inspire them in a safe and non-competitive environment, strengthening social and emotional competence. All programs promote self-expression, self-awareness, self-esteem and confidence. Actors are empowered to build valuable life skills and to joyfully discover their own voice. Theater education enhances academic performance, reading comprehension, and focus. Numerous studies show higher SAT scores in children exposed to the arts. Beyond Digital Noise:
In this age of technology, our goal is to cultivate a love of theater and traditional arts, which provide a creative outlet to cut through the digital clutter, through play acting, role-playing, and brainstorming, youth and teens become more engaged, confident, and resourceful. Community:
We are blessed with an enriched community of staff, students, and parents. We are dedicated to reaching outside the theater walls and being involved in our local community through enrichment programs, donations and community events.
