This fall, step into the thought-provoking world of artist Tom Pazderka at Hancock’s Ann Foxworthy Gallery.

Recently featured by the Santa Barbara Independent, Pazderka brings his exhibition All That Remains to Hancock Aug. 24 through Oct. 2, offering visitors an opportunity to explore his distinctive work and the ideas behind it.

The EOPS+ program application will open for the final time today (Aug. 21), beginning at 10 a.m. in the Mechanics Bank Student Center (bldg. G-106 A/B)

One application can connect eligible students with six support programs and resources designed to help you succeed at Hancock. First-generation students, student parents, current and former foster youth, justice-involved students, and other eligible students may receive support with textbooks, additional tutoring, academic counseling, and much more.

Thank you, Trustee Hilda Zacarías, for more than a decade of dedicated service to Allan Hancock College and our students.

After 14 years on the Allan Hancock College Board of Trustees, Board President Hilda Zacarías has stepped down from her position. Throughout her tenure, she has been a passionate advocate for student success and helped guide efforts to expand opportunities and support for our diverse student community.

Her leadership has contributed to a stronger Hancock, from supporting a growing and increasingly diverse class of graduates to expanding resources for veterans, formerly incarcerated students, and students who need additional academic support. She also helped strengthen the college’s financial foundation so Hancock can continue serving our community for generations to come.

We are deeply grateful for Hilda’s leadership, enthusiasm, and unwavering belief in our students. Please join us in thanking her for 14 years of extraordinary service and wishing her all the best in this next chapter.
