But Maria? Maria is who makes this childcare a home.

💖 Know what makes your child laugh

Maria is the kind of person to show up early or stay late, just to help. She’s the person that makes sure everyone in her life feels important, seen, and recognized. She’s the person that shows up when you invite her (except to my Halloween parties 🙄). And she’s the person to be there for you on your worst or your best day. The world is better because Maria is in it. And our children are so lucky to have someone that isn’t just here for a paycheck, but because she loves our kids.

I don’t know what I ever did to deserve Maria, or to trick her into working here for so long, but I will never take her for granted. She is single-handedly the best thing to ever happen to us as a daycare family. I truly believe that she is an actual angel sent from Heaven. She is a gift to everyone that knows her.

Here’s to FIVE years of raising babies together, celebrating each other’s highs, and supporting each other’s lows. I pray I can trick her into staying another five years. 💖

Well, date night has been so much fun that I took basically no pictures at all 😅 we made the COOLEST nature craft where we took clippings from the garden and fruit trees and glued them to canvas. We ate spaghetti, ice cream, and popcorn. And we went on a short nature walk and played Magic Statues outside!
