🌿 Around the District: Capital High School’s National Honor Society spent a Sunday giving back to the community by helping care for Arroyo Máscaras.

In partnership with the City of Santa Fe Park Rangers and the Santa Fe Watershed Association, students removed 10 large bags of trash — and even a shopping cart — from the arroyo.

Thank you to these Capital High students for showing what service, teamwork and community pride look like in action! 💚

💧 Mandela International Magnet School students are diving deeper into the future of Northern New Mexico’s water!

Thanks to a new three-year, $150,000 Youth Civic Infrastructure (YCI) Implementation Grant, students will have expanded opportunities to study local watersheds, take part in environmental stewardship and explore green career pathways.

The grant will connect classroom learning with hands-on experiences focused on the water and environmental issues shaping our community.

Chine-collé is a printmaking technique that combines printed imagery with thin, layered paper to add color, texture, and detail to the artwork.
