Ready to Make a Difference in the Lives of Young Children? The LANL Foundation is excited to announce recruitment for our Early Childhood Workforce Pathway Cohort!

We're seeking 10 individuals from Northern New Mexico who are passionate about becoming early childhood educators. This opportunity is open to prospective students who live within the LANL Foundation's seven-county service area: Los Alamos, Mora, Rio Arriba, Sandoval, San Miguel, Santa Fe, and Taos counties.

Through this unique cohort model, participants will receive the education, hands-on experience, and support needed to launch a meaningful career in early childhood.

Participants will:

✅ Earn an Early Childhood Professional Certificate from Northern New Mexico College
✅ Complete 150 hours of hands-on experience in a participating early childhood program through Aprendé's Pre-Apprenticeship Program
✅ Receive wraparound supports, including tutoring, mentorship, and stipends to help ensure success
✅ Build lasting relationships with a cohort of peers who will learn and grow We're all in this together

Program Expectations:

🔸Attend quarterly in-person cohort meetings at the LANL Foundation office in Española
🔸Participate in in-person events and activities at Northern New Mexico College
🔸Complete your pre-apprenticeship placement at a participating early childhood center in Northern New Mexico

Santa Fe Community Foundation's 2026 fall grant cycle will be open July 13 - August 16. They welcome proposals through their Community Grants program in four fields of interest, as well as through our Envision Fund, Native American Advised Fund, and Santa Fe Baby Fund. They also invite submissions for their 2026–2027 Giving Together catalog during this cycle. NM Food Pathways Grant Program is accepting Letters of Interest from July 1 through July 15th, 2026 for grants from $25k to $100k for NM Food Retailers, community food orgs including small grocers, co-ops, mobile markets, local govt and other community serving retail models operating within rural, Tribal, frontier or underserved communities. The Indigenous Tomorrows Fund is accepting applications for projects centering Native youth leadership, community well-being, and cultural continuity. Funding is organized around five interconnected impact areas: maintaining the life cycle of balance; intergenerational knowledge and relationships; healing; nurturing that which nourishes us; and building power and activating abundance.
