Congratulations to Phil Casaus of Brycon Construction, new President of the the Board at the Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce! I was excited to see my new piece (that resides in the Chamber), "Give My Heart" peeking out from the background of the newspaper article photo. https://www.abqjournal.com/2570205/phil-casaus-takes-helm-at-hispano-chamber.html?fbclid=IwAR2_V72i5IFzCXm1XSda5jj8mZH9OteeOIrJLVPZ1OZNWB5doIYukfBCZac

I'm excited to share the piece I created for Donate Life New Mexico. I've always advocated for organ donation, but I've learned so much about it. It's become even more critical to me to share the message. Please use my link to register now: https://www.registerme.org/campaign/milagros

In commemoration of Dia de los Mu***os, and to help save lives and end the waitlist, prominent Hispanic Artist Sean Wells, and New Mexico Donor Services teamed up.

Together we unveiled and dedicate a new Dia de los Mu***os themed painting titled “Give My Heart”.

“Our senorita presents a rose as a symbol of her heart which she generously gifts saving a life,” Artist Sean Wells explains. “The flowers growing lushly in her rib cage represent her organs, and a playful Alebrije symbolizes the transference of life through donation. That you live on in a new form.”

Across the nation more than 100,000 people need lifesaving organ transplants, and more than 20% of those waiting are Hispanic. In New Mexico 644 people are currently on the waitlist and 53% are Hispanic. Register your choice at https://www.registerme.org/campaign/milagros
