Founded in 1978, Rio Grande School is an independent school serving students age 3 through grade 6.
Rio Grande School enrolls 165 students, ages 3 through grade 6, guided by the mission to challenge each child's intellect, inspire each child's imagination, and nurture each child's desire to learn. Classes are led by two teachers, and are intentionally small, ranging between 16-20 students. Along with a rigorous academic curriculum, all students enjoy daily experiences in the fine and performing arts, physical education, technology, Spanish, and experiential education.
