ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Becca Holmes is the ALTO Co-Manager and Artist in Residence at The Santa Fe Opera. She designs and implements arts integrated curricula for Rio Rancho and Santa Fe Public Schools. Since 2006 Becca and her team of skilled composers have helped students to present around 45 original operas. Calling all future superstars! ⁠📣⁠

The Santa Fe Opera announces children’s chorus auditions for its summer festival production of "Tosca." Children of all genders ages 8-13 with unchanged voices are invited to audition on one of the following dates:⁠

Saturday, February 11th, 2023: 1:30-3:30⁠
Sunday, February 12th, 2023: 1:30-3:30⁠

"Tosca" will be sung in Italian and conducted by John Fiore and directed by Keith Warner. Rehearsals begin May 20; performances begin June 30 and run through August 26. Blair Salter is the children’s chorus director for the production under the chorus direction of Susanne Sheston.⁠

Curtain at 6:00pm with performances by Maggie Cordova Elementary School, Colinas Del Norte Elementary School, Enchanted Hills Elementary School, Vista Grande Elementary School, and Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary School!
