Dear SFPS Families,

SFPS is excited to launch the SFPS Digital Wellness Trading Card initiative, a fun and engaging campaign designed to help students build healthier relationships with technology.

Inspired by Pokémon, the popular collectible trading card game, the initiative encourages students to learn about balanced technology use, healthy screen habits, digital wellness, and mindful technology use through tips on the individual cards.

Card packs will be available in both English and Spanish. The collection includes six base cards, two special foil cards, and 10 rare exclusive redemption cards hidden throughout the district. Students who find one of the rare redemption cards will receive a free, brand new bicycle, thanks to a partnership between SFPS, the Husband and Wife Law Team, The Housing Trust, and the Boys and Girls Club of Santa Fe.

This initiative supports SFPS’s commitment to student wellness, responsible technology use, and helping students find healthy ways to stay active, connected, and engaged beyond their devices. We encourage parents and guardians to review the cards with their child or children and use them as a starting point for conversations about healthy technology habits.

Card packs are being distributed to each school site to hand out on or around Tuesday, May 12th.

Redemption card shown below. If your student finds a redemption card in their pack, please bring the card to the Educational Services Center, 610 Alta Vista Street, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Families will need to complete a form so the district can order the student’s bicycle.
