We were honored to have American Legion Post 12 visit our school today and provide our students with a lesson on the proper folding of the American flag. We appreciate you sharing your knowledge with our students and answering their questions.

Congratulations to our amazing educator, Ms. Mayo, on receiving the Golden Apple award! Ms. Mayo has taught in many different roles in her almost 30 years at Nava. She has been a classroom teacher, instructional coach, and now teaches technology in her Innovation Nation class. Our school community is lucky to have her!

Ms. Scanlon’s 1st graders coded Sphero Bolts to pull 3D printed carts as part of a subtraction activity is Ms. Mayo’s Innovation Nation class. They had previously designed counters on Tinkercad that were loaded into the carts.

Our kindergarten through 5th grade classes put on a great music performance today! Thank you, Ms. A, for planning this performance for our students to show off their musical talents.

Ms. Kennedy’s 3rd graders put on a performance of The Tortoise and the Jackrabbit for students and families. They did such a great job learning their lines and acting out their parts!
