We’ve been working hard all week getting classrooms ready, putting the finishing touches around the school, and preparing to welcome our students back! 🧡💛
The ATC staff is ready, excited, and can’t wait to see everyone tomorrow! 🎉
Please remember there is construction on Avenida del Sur and A Van Nu Po (the roads leading up to the school); plan an extra 15 to 20 minutes of travel time.

The ATC school day begins with the first bell at 8:55 AM. Students are expected to be in class and ready to learn when the tardy bell rings at 9:00 AM.
ATC follows a block schedule designed to give students more focused time in each class.
Mondays: Students attend all six class periods. There is no Flex Period or Crew on Mondays.
Tuesday-Friday: Students attend three core class periods each day, along with a Flex Period. Crew is held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
Alternative bell schedules may be used for special situations, including 2-hour delays, exam days, assemblies, and other school events. These schedules will be communicated in advance.

Student parking is available for approved student drivers. Parking on campus is a privilege, and students are expected to follow parking rules, drive safely, and arrive to class on time.
Students must have, at minimum, a provisional driver’s license to receive a parking permit. Students with a restricted driver’s license are not permitted to park at school.
🎟️ Parking permits are $25, and the student must show that the vehicle is registered and has insurance.
Please plan ahead each morning for construction and traffic delays. Traffic, drop-off lines, or parking delays do not excuse tardiness.
🔒 Reminder: ATC is a closed campus. Students may not visit their vehicles during the school day without permission from the front office. Students should not use their cars as lockers or storage areas, so please bring everything needed when entering the building.
For student parking information and the printable parking map, visit https://www.atcschool.org/o/the-academy/page/bts

Every ATC student receives a school-issued Chromebook and charger through our 1:1 Device Take-Home Program. Students should bring their Chromebook to school each day, fully charged and ready to use.
🎒 Grades 7–11
Students will use their ATC-issued Chromebook for schoolwork. Personal laptops, tablets, Chromebooks, and similar devices may not be used at school.
🎓 Grade 12
Seniors may use a personal laptop, Chromebook, or tablet after registering it with ATC. Personal devices must be used appropriately and may not be used to access a student’s phone. Misuse may result in the loss of personal-device privileges.
📵 Cell Phones During Class
To support focused learning, phones, smartwatches, and other wireless devices must be turned off and placed in the classroom’s designated phone storage area at the beginning of each class. This includes College Crew and Flex, unless a teacher gives permission for an educational purpose.
Students may access their phones:
✅ Before school
✅ During passing periods
✅ At lunch
✅ After school
📶 Student Wi-Fi
Student Wi-Fi is available for ATC-issued Chromebooks and registered senior devices. Cell phones may connect before and after school, but Wi-Fi access will not be available on phones during instructional hours.
Students with documented medical or educational accommodations will continue to be supported in accordance with their approved plans.

As students get ready for the new school year, please take a moment to review the ATC dress code. ATC follows the Santa Fe Public Schools dress policy, which expects students to dress in a way that is appropriate for the school day and school-sponsored events.
Students must wear a shirt, bottoms, and safe, appropriate footwear. Clothing must fully cover required areas with fabric that is not see-through.
🚫 Clothing and accessories may not include offensive language or images, or content that references drugs, alcohol, weapons, violence, hate speech, or other inappropriate material.
Students who are out of dress code will be asked to change into appropriate clothing or wear ATC-provided clothing for the day.
Our dress code supports the respectful, focused, and college-preparatory environment we strive to maintain at ATC.
Let’s start the year strong by supporting a respectful, focused, and school-ready learning environment.

✏️ School Supply Lists!
Lists are available by grade level and include the general items students will need for the year.
New Mexico’s annual Back-to-School Tax Holiday runs from Friday, July 31 through Sunday, August 2, 2026. This is a great time for families to shop for school supplies, clothing, and other qualifying back-to-school items.
Because some courses have specific needs, students may receive a few additional supply requests from teachers during the first week of school.
New this year: All students are asked to bring 3 boxes of Kleenex and 3 containers of Clorox Wipes.
