I realize that Wednesday class is really like a creativity lab--where we all explore and adventure and are changed somehow in the process. Today quite a few people were feeling quiet in the class, and people went deep. We started class inviting in our "spirit team" to help lift us and connect us.

Today I feel waves of knowing wash through my body. I am asking for change and I feel the light of new beginnings coming through the cracks of what is known.

In class I see the powerful impact the words "creative trust" have in the group space. Yes, this is what we are looking for--in our lives and in our artwork.

I feel very grateful today to be here.

I imagine us all wearing a t-shirt that says "Just For Joy". What an amazing gift to self to give ourselves the sheer pleasure of playing with paint. This is truly transformational work.

Supporting individual women to thrive creatively is a joy for me. I feel like this is life changing work (play) and I thank the Universe for giving me this work this time around.

Today's Wednesday class was smaller than usual--so much happening in the world--and yet still a morning of inspiration and completions.

Today we gathered to paint and I could feel a tightness, a hardness in the air. At the same time I could feel people's desire to open, loosen and move into a flow, a connection with spirit. Beautiful to see people let go into the moment and paint.

Before I start one of my group classes I always check in with myself around what needs to come present in class. Today my guidance was in the form of the word "gentle".

So I brought that to class. And one participant said "I love the synchronicity of life--I just pulled a medicine card and drew the deer card which is about being gentle".

And another woman said "I saw four deer on our driveway today, very unusual."

This is what happens often in my classes--it's like we really are coming TOGETHER in a collective field that is so connected to wisdom, nature, poetry and the present moment-- to the Universal forces that bring flow, healing and creativity.

I love how this all works. Thank you Universe.

My focus this year is connecting ever more with my joy and my spirit when deciding what and when to offer my creative retreats. In other words, I'm only offering them when it FEELS RIGHT and GOOD.

AND I am clear I am super jazzed to be offering another Creative Mini-Retreat in two weeks- Friday March 5th. (The first one was on January 1st). Want to jump in?

This is a great way to ignite or boost your creative energies in a fun and conscious way. I'm offering this on a Friday--hopefully many of you can still make it. If we need to make it a Saturday next time--do let me know that would make it possible for you to come.

People had such a good time with it on January 1st--let's keep connecting with spirit and creativity--it's so important. I have this as an event but I have also posted the zoom link in the comments section.

In class today, people letting the weight of life lift from their shoulders as they create and play. It really helps sometimes to just say at the beginning of painting time--this is not about a masterpiece--letting all that go.

Right now it is the spiritual component to painting that draws me to my creative table to check in and see what might be coming through that open door. Sometimes it's something small, not earth changing, but always it changes my relationship to the moment and I feel grateful.

Today in Wednesday class I am hearing people say they are experiencing lot's of emotion and their paintings are taking a life of their own--nothing they thought was going to happen is happening--A tree becomes a volcano, etc.
i see the healing power of becoming immersed in this way--such a joy to share.
