TONIGHT! Don't miss the opening reception for Ron Mier’s exhibition “New Traditions/Weaving Reimagined” featuring work by NMSA Spring 2026 Printmaking Visual Arts students!
NMSA Visual Arts students in the Spring 2026 Printmaking course enjoyed a three-day workshop with local weaving and printmaking artist Ron Mier. Drawing from his familial background as a Chimayo weaver, Mier guided students to generate monotypes reflective of their own heritage.
This project was generously supported by the Santa Fe Arts Commission's Art is the Solution Grant.
"New Traditions/Weaving Reimagined"
201 West Marcy Street.
Public Opening Reception is tonight-Thursday, July 16, 5:30-7:30 pm.
