Are you a graduate student or postdoc with exciting research in Data Science & AI, Sustainability, or Pharma? The Division is seeking nominees for ACS Rapid Reactions, a three-minute science communication competition at the Spring 2027 ACS Meeting designed to highlight emerging researchers and compelling new work; applicants should be ACS and Division members, be the primary researcher and presenter of the work, and be able to attend the meeting. Top presenters are eligible for cash prizes. To be considered, please apply by October 5.

We’re also proud to celebrate two 2026 ACS ChemLuminary Awards:

- Most Unique Project Funded by a Division Innovative Project Grant (with ORGN and PROF) for the Future Pharma Innovators Program, which connected 25 graduate students with industry mentors and culminated in a poster session at ACS Fall 2026.

- Best Activity or Program Highlighting ACS Change Drivers or Strategic Planning for the ACS Presidential Symposium, “The Future of Measurement Science,” presented at ACS Fall 2025.

Planning to present your research at an upcoming meeting? The ACS Division of Analytical Chemistry offers travel awards of up to $1,000 for younger chemists under age 40 presenting their research orally or by poster.

Eligible meetings include National and Regional ACS meetings, SciX, Pittcon, the Eastern Analytical Symposium, and other analytical meetings.

Applications are accepted twice a year, with deadlines on November 1 and May 1.
