2025 UPDATE: Wise Fool has lost their long-time studio space off Siler Rd. We are currently operating as a "traveling circus" while we seek a new home by bringing our award-winning youth programs into partner organizations through local collaboration. We know we’ve had a lot of asks for volunteers lately, and we’re so grateful to everyone who’s been able to help so far.

Alas, due to the unpredictable whims of the freight shipping gods, we are in a pinch and are urgently coming to you with one more request:

Tomorrow is our last chance to get the new rubber flooring laid down before a performance this weekend and camps start next week.

We are seeking 6-10 volunteers to help us get this done from 9:30am-12:30pm tomorrow (6/12). The process is straightforward, but requires a little heavy lifting. The more people we have, the easier it will be. We are offering class credits in exchange for your time, of course!

Email [email protected] if you’re able to help!

We’re entering the final few weeks of Spring! Can you believe that Summer is almost here?! 😎Since the season began, we’ve been witnessing progress on renovation projects, preparing for the onset of our Summer Kids Camps (one of the busiest times of year!), and building a stronger future for circus arts in Santa Fe.

Now we’re working to bridge 🌉 the final $15,000 needed to meet our matching fundraising goal. Remember, all funds are being matched by an anonymous donor - so your donation goes twice as far!

Every gift helps cover operational costs, high-quality youth programs, insurance, equipment maintenance, scholarships, and more.

Help us cross the finish line - double your impact today: https://wisefoolnewmexico.app.neoncrm.com/forms/donate-to-our-bloom--build-drive

Join us for the Grand Re-Opening Party to tour the new studio, enjoy food, music from Gold Tides, and circus entertainment.

The Student Showcase features a lineup of circus performances, including clowning, stiltwalking, and aerial arts by Wise Fool students. We will top off the evening at sunset with a Fire Jam by Santa Fe Flow Collective.

The Grand Re-Opening takes place at Wise Fool on Saturday, June 20th. The party starts at 4pm, with the Student Showcase at 6pm, and the Santa Fe Flow Collective Fire Jam at 7:30pm.

$10-15 Suggested Donation for the Student Showcase and Fire Jam (no one turned away for lack of funds).

Let’s celebrate this new chapter in Wise Fool’s mission to foster inclusion, connection, and creativity through circus arts!

VOLUNTEER CALL! We're in the final stretch of installing Wise Fool's beautiful new flooring, and we need your help to bring this project across the finish line! 🙌

We're offering work-trade credit at a rate of $20/hr for all volunteer hours worked. This is a great opportunity to offset the cost of our classes!

THIS THURSDAY - June 11
1️⃣ 9:30am - 12:30pm: Seeking 4-5 volunteers.
Folks should be comfortable lifting up to 50lbs, but installation is simple and no experience is needed. We mostly need help getting the rolls off the palette and laying them in their final position.

2️⃣ 12:30 - 2:30pm: Seeking 3-5 volunteers
We'll be trimming and gluing transition ramps around the perimeter of the new floors. No tripping hazards here! Volunteers should feel comfortable bending, kneeling, and wielding a utility knife - but heavy lifting is not required.

This new floor is a major improvement to our space and will support countless classes, rehearsals, performances, and community gatherings for years to come. We're excited to complete this project and would love your help making it happen.

If you're available to lend a hand, please follow the link below and let us know you'll be joining us:

New workshops for your summer schedule!

Acrobalance with Jo and Colleen is BACK with two offerings—July 11 and July 25 from 10 AM - 12 PM. These 2-hour workshops are designed to get you off the ground and connecting with others. We will break down the fundamentals of basing, flying, and spotting in a safe, supportive environment. We'll be building on skills learned in previous workshops, but can get first-timers up to speed quickly, so don't be shy! No partner and no previous experience necessary.

Plus, we're excited to offer our first workshop with Jesse the Juggler! Juggling Technique & Creativity: Creating Your Own Act/Show is July 18 from 1 PM - 3:30 PM. Jesse's workshop blends technique and professionalism. While this will absolutely be fun and playful, it could also be very valuable for anyone interested in pursuing a professional path. Jesse has traveled the world performing, and would love to share some of what they've learned along the way — the things that helped, and the things would be so helpful to know starting out. Ages 10+, ability to perform basic 3-ball cascade recommended.

We're excited to be hosting Dancing Earth for two workshops in the coming days!

THE BODY AS COMPASS | Saturday June 6 @ 9am
Diasporic Body Mapping, Somatic Care & Wayfinding with Humlåo Evans

The body is a living archive of story, memory, and survival. In this eco-somatic workshop, Humlåo Evans invites participants to explore the body as both landscape and vessel — drawing from CHamoru cultural philosophy, somatic care practices, and the traditions of ocean navigation and wayfinding. No experience needed. All movers, artists, healers, and community members welcome.

ELEMENTS OF DANCING EARTH | Monday June 8 @ 9am
A Masterclass in the Foundational Movement of Dancing Earth with Rulan Tangen

With Earth as body and body as Earth, Dancing Earth's Founding Artistic Director Rulan Tangen offers a movement experience for all beings. From gentle to dynamic, this eco-somatic masterclass weaves breath, sound, land-based forms drawn from rocks, wind, water, seeds, plants, and the four-leggeds and winged ones — into a collective rhythmic pulse and a language beyond words. This is Movement for All. Movement as Medicine. No prior experience required. Self-guided modifications available for all abilities.
