🧡🦬💙 Before we ask our students to grow, we ask it of ourselves. This week, our teachers have been learning, reflecting, and growing together as we prepare to welcome our students back. Every conversation has centered around one purpose: creating classrooms where every child feels known, valued, challenged, and inspired. At Thrive, our work is grounded in four simple values: Show Love. Create Joy. Work as a Team. Be Brave. These aren’t just words on a wall. They guide how we learn, lead, and care for one another every day. As part of that commitment, our staff spent time learning alongside Matthew Kincaid of Overcoming Racism, deepening our understanding of anti-racism and how we can create classrooms where every student feels respected, welcomed, and seen. Thank you, Matthew, for challenging us to keep learning and growing together. And a BIG thank you to Trader Joe’s, Los Magueyes, Dunkin’, Whoo’s Donuts, Tomasita’s, Starbucks, Dion’s, and Albertsons for keeping our team fueled and making our first week back a little more delicious! ☕🍩🌮🧡 We can’t wait to welcome our Buffalos back! #thrivecommunityschool #ThisIsHowWeThrive #thrivewiththebuffalos

In the blink of an eye, our kindergarten graduates become our eighth-grade graduates. 🎓🧡🦬💙

Today we celebrate both the beginning and the next chapter. It is one of the greatest privileges of being a school to walk alongside students during some of their most formative years. From kindergarten caps to eighth-grade diplomas, what a gift it has been to watch these students grow.
We welcome our kindergarten graduates with excitement for the journey ahead, and we send our eighth graders into the world with pride, knowing they are ready to continue learning, growing, and making a difference in their communities.

To our graduates: We hope you carry the values of Thrive with you wherever you go. Be brave. Create joy. Show love. Work as a team. You have practiced these things here, and we know you will continue to do so in the schools, workplaces, and communities you touch next.

A special thank you to our graduation speakers, Steven Carrillo of the New Mexico Public Education Commission and Representative Linda Serrato, who serves Santa Fe County in the New Mexico House of Representatives. Thank you for taking the time to celebrate our students and speak life into their futures. We are grateful for all you do to support education, strengthen our communities, and invest in the success of students across New Mexico and here at Thrive.

☀️🧡💙 What a way to wrap up the year!

After a week full of games, challenges, water fun, and school spirit, Field Day was the perfect grand finale. We loved seeing our students cheering each other on, working together, and soaking up the sunshine while making memories that will last all summer long.

A huge thank you to Mrs. Allen for planning such an incredible week for our students, and to all of the amazing parent volunteers who jumped in to help make it happen. We are so grateful for a Thrive community that always shows up, lends a hand, and helps create special experiences for our kids.

🧡💙 What a special day at Special Olympics! 🏅

Our students have been meeting throughout the year for activities, connection, and community, and this event was such a fun and meaningful way to celebrate all of their hard work, growth, and friendships together.

We are so proud of our students for showing courage, joy, teamwork, and inclusivity every step of the way. A huge thank you to Mrs. Liz and her team for all of the planning and love poured into this event, to Special Olympics New Mexico, to Thrive PTO for the popsicles 🍧, and to our staff and families for supporting our students so well.

THRIVE students are working to make a travel opportunity to Japan possible—and they’re stepping up to make it happen.

We’ve put together a raffle featuring two prize packages valued at about $900 each, built from local Santa Fe businesses:
