Mrs. Hinojosa and her PCT students would like to thank all three elementary schools for allowing us to visit and host our annual Teddy Bear Clinic with their kindergartners! 🧸
This event is always so much fun and gives our PCT students the opportunity to practice communicating with younger patients, while the kindergartners learn how to feel comfortable during a visit to the doctor’s office.

Mrs Hinojosa and a few of her Patient Care Technician students would like to extend our sincere thanks to Southeast Memorial Hermann for the incredible opportunity to attend your PCT hiring event. Our students had an enriching experience touring the facility, engaging with a LifeFlight nurse, paramedic, and pilot, and gaining valuable insight into the healthcare field.
They also had the chance to participate in interviews, connect with HR representatives from Memorial Hermann, and explore future pathways at the college fair featuring local community colleges.
This was truly a meaningful professional experience that allowed our students to grow, learn, and envision their futures in healthcare. We appreciate your support and commitment to developing the next generation of professionals.

Mrs. Hinojosa’s class has been hard at work diving into real-world healthcare skills! 🩺
Students are learning about diabetes management, including understanding blood sugar levels and the role of insulin in the body. They’ve also been practicing essential hands-on skills such as checking blood glucose, using insulin pens, drawing up combination insulin, and safely administering insulin to a patient.
These future healthcare professionals are building knowledge and confidence that will make a difference in the lives of others. Proud of their dedication and growth! 💚
