Had a great time, one of our members, Caitlin successfully passed their E Dan (2nd degree) test.

For 10 yesrs I had the privilege of driving KJN Shin around while he visited Chicago. We had a few discussions.

His personal guidance is the reason I am still here. Great man built a great organization, and is responsible for the outstanding leaders we now have.

WTSDA Region 2, 2nd Gup Jill van der Schaaf graduated from the Santa Fe Fire Department Academy yesterday. She joined nine other graduates, one in his 40's, no hope for me. 1st is their group photo, 2nd is Carly her partner placing her badge on, 3rd is Dad (tall one), Santa Fe City Mayor Weber and Carly.

It was an honor being able to witness this.

Last week was great, Cho Dan certificates awarded to Julia, Michael, Melissa and Henry. They tested in the Spring. Gup test Friday, Emiliano tested for 3rd gup, Sophia and Connor for 8th gup. Master Gulick was a great visitor, looking forward to seeing her again next spring.

I got to remember to take more pictures.

Max is off to Massachusetts, tonight was last class until the holidays. He plans to continue training with Master Bulissas, who has a dojang close to campus.

Max has been training at Raven for eight years. Searching hard drive for a picture of Max as a white belt. Will post when I find it.
