Students, staff and the Little Lake community were at the heart of the Board of Education’s September 8 meeting.

Among the highlights:
The Board recognized Lucero Gallegos and Gloria Betancourt upon their retirement and thanked them for their dedicated service to Little Lake students and schools.

The annual Arts and Music in Schools Funding Report highlighted creative learning opportunities that help students build confidence, discover their talents and express themselves.

Together, Little Lake’s dedicated employees and enriching programs help create schools where every student can learn, grow and thrive.

The Little Lake City School District would like to remind our students, families, and staff that there will be no school on Monday, September 7, 2026, in observance of Labor Day.
We hope everyone enjoys a safe, relaxing, and well-deserved holiday with family and friends. Classes and regular district operations will resume on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.
