Private tutoring for elementary students in reading and math.

I had to take a picture of this cute, plastic backpack. My student excused himself from the table and got up and went to the kitchen, he put a doughnut in the plastic and brought it to me, and said, “here’s your snack for the ride home”!

I retired from the Little Lake School District in 2021 working in special education with an emphasis on mental health, special needs, resource and speech and language assistance.

$30.00 an hour
All materials are provided
Sight words, reading, comprehension and cursive writing for elementary and middle school grade levels.

Cursive handwriting is a simple skill to learn with time. In January 2021, there will be a new session to start with the basics and with practice. I create easy practice sheets and guide students every step of the way. 6 sessions, once a week. Check out the City of Santa Fe Springs Parks and Recreation page on virtual classes. Cursive handwriting is not taught in schools but is used on a daily basis, mostly for legal documents and such. Learn from the beginning or improve your style. 🖊 📝
