We’d like to send a huge shout out and appreciation to our friends and community members with SC Builders, Ben Lomond Fire, and our Bonny Doon Firefighters! The students (and staff) loved the experience of getting inside a real tractor and fire truck.

Touch a Tractor Day
Wednesday, Oct. 7, 11:00-12:15 in the Upper Parking Lot
Our students have watched the construction machinery through the fences. Well, now they are going to have the opportunity to see them up close. We will be closing the upper parking lot from 10:30-12:15 to make room for some of the construction equipment and fire trucks for our students to check-out. We will have plenty of supervision to keep everyone safe, and we invite our parents/guardians and community to join.

🐾 Community makes Bonny Doon School special!
Last week, a BDS grandparent arranged for guide dogs in training to visit campus during lunch recess. Our students and staff had a wonderful time meeting, petting, and cuddling these adorable puppies! 🐶❤️
This is just one example of the many ways our community helps make the BDS experience so special. Whether you serve as a Trustee, support our Foundation or Parent Volunteer Association, or share a skill, talent, or hobby with our students, there’s a place for you at BDS!
Interested in getting involved? Contact the school office to learn more about how you can support our school community.

On the eve of our Foundation's annual Art, W**e & Brew Festival, we want to share a touch of the positive impact that stems from the money raised. Today, we welcomed Shakes on the Move to share parts of Shakespeare's "The Tempest" with our upper grade students.

Work continues to move forward across several areas of campus as part of our Measure L improvements. As construction activity increases, we recognize the temporary adjustments and disruptions this work can create for students, teachers, staff and families, and we appreciate everyone’s continued flexibility. Today, we welcomed the SPCA and rescue furry friend, Poe, to one of our classrooms. This is a great example of how we engage our students in their learning, and their community.
