The market isn’t disengaged.
It’s more selective.
And July is going to feel stickier than most people expect.
Buyers will be slower to decide, more careful about tone, and more focused on what feels safe and genuinely useful.
Underneath that, a bigger shift is building toward August.
Your buyer is still asking: Does this feel right?
But soon they’ll also be asking: Does this person understand the market I’m navigating and the decisions I’m facing?
I’m calling it the Guide By Your Side era.
I broke down what’s changing, what July is asking, and how to position yourself before the shift fully lands.
The map exists before July gets here.

This weekend the kids took me on a sunset sail for Mother’s Day.
I’d asked for time together. No things. Just us.
And it was beautiful.
Except Blake was scared. Really scared.
So I spent most of the sail beside her. Soothing her. Distracting her. Staying close.
Not the golden-hour moment I pictured.
But exactly the reminder I needed.
𝗕𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗱, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗱.
Which is exactly what Jen Liddy and I talked about in this week’s workshop.
We looked at real copy from real people and made the shifts in real time.
No red pen.
No verdict.
Just: here’s what I see, here’s what changes.
My favorite takeaway? 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝗿𝗮.
Because the more your writing reflects how you actually serve your people, the more resonant it becomes.
We have another workshop coming later this month. Details soon. Save space in late June.

There are two calendars running your summer.
The market’s calendar.
And your own internal one.
Most business owners only plan around the first one, then wonder why summer feels so frustrating.
But June, July, and August aren’t one long slow season.
They’re different windows with different energy, different buyer behavior, and different opportunities.
I wrote more about how to read both calendars so you can stop pushing blindly and start planning with actual data.

I’m genuinely excited about this one.
𝗢𝗻 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟴, 𝗝𝗲𝗻 𝗟𝗶𝗱𝗱𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝘂𝗯𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝗿𝗮 𝘄𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼.
Real feedback.
Real copy.
Real conversations about what buyers actually respond to now.
Because the old “perform authority louder” approach is fading fast.
People want human-first connection.
They want to feel supported.
They want to know who they’re actually in the room with.
Jen has spent years helping business owners sound like themselves at their best, and together we’re bringing strategy + messaging + timing into one conversation.

P.S. Jen and I first met for coffee and immediately clicked. She helped me find my brand voice and messaging. I helped her with astro strategic planning. Somewhere along the way we became real friends, and now we finally get to collaborate together publicly. Honestly? It feels very full circle.

Most people treat timing like a calendar problem.
Pick the right week. Block the right hours. Show up consistently enough and eventually the results follow.
And then a launch falls flat. A conversation goes nowhere.
Something that should have moved doesn’t.
The instinct is to look at the offer, the messaging, the strategy.

𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗜 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝗻.
That timing data exists. Most business owners just don't know where to look.
I wrote about exactly this in my latest Substack article — including specific windows coming up between now and the end of June that are worth knowing about before you hit them.

Sometimes the problem isn’t your offer.
It isn’t your strategy.

I got to do something pretty incredible last week.
I stood on a stage at The Hibernia in San Francisco in front of hundreds of executives, authors, and entrepreneurs and made the case that astro strategic data belongs at the strategy table.
Not because it's mystical. Because it's pattern recognition. Because the market moves in cycles and knowing what's coming changes how you plan, how you sell, and how you show up.
The room got it immediately.
Because smart people recognize useful data when they hear it. And because somewhere underneath all the noise, they were already feeling the shift.
That moment is why I built 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗮™.

Most of the people I’m talking to right now have strong offers.
They’ve built real things.
They know their work gets results.
They just don’t always know when to share it.
Last week, a client came in with three solid offers and one question: “𝑾𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒅𝒐 𝑰 𝒓𝒖𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒔𝒆 𝒔𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌?”
We looked at more than what felt ready or made logical sense.
We looked at what her buyers were primed for.
And we flipped June and September.
Same offers.
Different windows.
Clearer strategy.
𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗶𝗲𝗰𝗲 𝘀𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀.
It’s not always the offer.
It’s not always the funnel.
𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴.
I talked about this on the 𝑷𝒆𝒓 𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑳𝒂𝒔𝒕 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒎𝒐 podcast with 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗞𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗺, including how one client went from a 7% webinar conversion to 50% in three days with the right positioning shifts.
