This is your chance to step onto our campus, train in our environment, and get a real feel for what it’s like to be a Slug.

Spend the day on UC Santa Cruz’s campus training directly under our coaching staff, running through the same exercises, sessions, and intensity our current players experience every week. Sharpen your game, compete alongside other prospects, and see firsthand what our program is built on.

Whether it’s your first time on campus or you know about redwoods and ocean views, this is your opportunity.

Congratulations to our Alumni, Cole Simes. For not only competing for team USA in the 2026 Maccabi games but also being a key player in their win in the final against Argentina!!! Helping team USA bring home the gold🥇

Cole scored 1 goal and held 5 assists over the tournament even being the highlighted player going into the final game against Argentina. He had a major impact in team USA’s midfield.

Recently we lost a great Slug and an alum of the Men’s soccer program, Jared Urson Wheeler ‘08. Jared’s legacy at UCSC includes the record for most shutouts recorded in a single season. In 2006 he posted 17 shutouts. He also was a significant contributor on the 2004 National Championship runner up team.

On August 22nd the Wheeler family will be hosting a celebration of life on campus on the Lower East Field. Donations in support of his family may be given via the posted Venmo or go fund me using the attached QR Code/Link below.

Our thoughts are with the Wheeler and Men’s Soccer families through this difficult time.
