Join us on Zoom Tuesdays 5-6 pm! Message us for the link. We offer a class for youth and a class for adults, to those with and without disabilities.

Shared Adventures’ Artists Studio program provides free, inclusive open-studio type art classes weekly during the school year and once a week throughout the summer. Students work with many creative mediums including printmaking, painting, ceramics, and photography. They also benefit from the expertise of guest artists, learn about master artists, take field trips to view local art, and participate

Join us next Tuesday 9/27 from 5-6 p.m. on Zoom as we experiment with a faux marble painting technique. This is fun to paint on cardboard, canvas, wood and even plastic. Here's what you'll need: 1) Kitchen sponge cut up into squares, 2) acrylic paints For a green faux marble, you can use black, white and light green. If you want to create a white marble, you'd need black, white and some tan would be nice. 3) you'll need access to water and paper towels, 4) a plate to use as a palate, 5) either a tiny brush to make fake "veins" in your granite or better yet - a bird's feather or a leaf. 6) And you'll need something to paint! Message me for our Zoom link. Thank you artist Jordan for this great idea for class!

Join us next Tuesday September 20th 5-6 on Zoom for some water color art using felt markers and a plastic bag (a ziplock bag or bag from the grocery store) Here's what you'll need: 1. Paper (like computer paper), 2. felt pens and markers, 3. plastic bag, 4. water (a spray bottle with water would be great, but we can work with a bowl of water too), 5. paper towel. Message me for our Zoom link or look for it in your Shared Adventures calendar announcements. See you soon!
