It was a long fabulous day working my first festival as a Damsel in Defense vendor w my mentor Shawna Glynn.
Met so many people and so dozens of old friends.
Had a deja vu coming home from working all day in Capitola Village, wearing a Margaritaville apron filled with cash. 😆😆
Not only do I still have my 25+ year old apron, I still have my skirts! IYKYK.

After I was bit by a dog that was about to attack mine I carried a lot of anxiety, especially around other large male dogs. I know that dogs pick up on this and it can create a problem where one didnt exist. So I invested in a stun gun and it has been a game changer!
I have only had to use it once, and that was “firing a warning shot” at an approaching dog that is routinely aggressive toward us at the beach. It stopped him in his tracks and now he doesn't bother us anymore. I no longer carry that anxiety with me because I know that I am equipped to deter aggressive dogs and fight back should I need to.
I know that I am not the only one that has felt this way.….
