Fostering a culture of sustainability at UC Santa Cruz

Join the Sustainability Office as we take part in County Clean Up Day, hosted by Pitch In Initiative!
We will meet at UCSC Porter SQUIGGLE where we can have supplies such as trash grabbers, gloves, and trash bags.
This event will support in creating visible environmental impacts and prevent litter on campus from impacting local ecosystems.
We will be providing refreshments and a raffle prize for students. Everyone is welcome to take part in the change happening on May 10th!

The City is looking for one at-large youth resident member (age 24 or younger) to join the new Sustainability and Resiliency Committee! If you’re passionate about climate advocacy, transportation, water, trees, waste, buildings, energy, or resiliency, this is your chance to make a real impact.
What you’ll do: Advise the City Council on
climate and resiliency issues.
Commitment: Quarterly meetings for 18
months.
