We sent an email to all continuing students moving into university housing this September. Here is a quick breakdown of what you need to know:

🗓️ Important Dates to Remember:
August 14: Deadline to update your billing preference (quarterly vs. monthly installments) in the Housing Portal.
August 20: Room and roommate assignments will be sent out, along with move-in details!
September 14: Deadline to change your meal plan preference for the fall quarter.

👋 Plans changed? If you no longer need university housing for the fall, please cancel your application in the Housing Portal as soon as possible to avoid increased cancellation fees and free up the space for another student.

Get ahead of move-out now to make your last week on campus a little less stressful.

• Start early and pack items you don't use every day
• Clean your room, apartment, and shared spaces
• Coordinate transportation and parking plans
• Donate unwanted items at Goodwill donation stations in your residential community
• Return any dining hall dishes that may have made their way home with you
• Return your keys and complete your move-out checklist

When it's time to leave, submit your Express Check-Out Form before departing.

A little preparation now can save a lot of stress later.

Didn’t select a space during Room Selection? If you’re still interested in university housing for 2025-26, here’s what to do next:
✅ Verify your interest in the Housing Portal—your application won’t be considered for available spaces until you do this.
🔄 Update your preferences to include as many room types as you’re open to. The more flexible you are, the more opportunities we have to find you a space!
💡 Many students on the waitlist receive housing, especially those who keep their options open.
