UC Santa Cruz (UCSC) is proud to introduce the new M.A. in Geographic Information Systems, Spatial Technologies, Applications, and Research (GISTAR). This innovative program is designed to meet the growing demand for expertise in geospatial technologies. The 2-year professional program is now accepting applications through January 15, 2025, with the first cohort beginning in Fall 2025. UC Santa Cruz Social Sciences

The Environmental Art and Social Practice MFA program (EASP) at the University of California, Santa Cruz, welcomes applications now for admission in the fall of 2025.

This two-year residential program in the Art Department seeks prospective applicants to develop their artwork in relation to social and environmental justice questions, contexts, and communities. Headed by internationally recognized artists and affiliate faculty from across campus, the program integrates the resources of a renowned public research university with the Art Department’s mission of educating and training students in cross-disciplinary, multimedia art practices.

The EASP MFA application deadline is January 30 at 11:59 PM PST.

New gifts launch projects and experiential learning in Sikh studies Two new gifts to UC Santa Cruz will raise awareness and understanding of Sikhism through two distinct projects. Each project includes paid internships for students.
